Presenting the Sereno Family:

This group of people are so much fun to be with, it's hard to believe they're my family. Even referring to them as "my pamilya" sounds too staid and formal.
They are simple folk. Salt of the earth. No airs, no pretentiousness. Just a direct, no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners approach towards life, peppered with a lot of humor on the side.
They got this attitude from their parents. Tatay, Anastacio Sereno, Sr., is a former merchant marine, your typical Old Salt. A man of few words but with a heart that is as big as his hulking six-foot one frame. This Sean Connery-lookalike plays the role of doting grandfather to all his seventeen grandchildren. (Yes. Seventeen. We are a prolific bunch.)
